A Love Poem

Trees laid bare
Scorched on high
Winter’s calm
Is in your palm

Wait and see
To be not free

Cast about
In times of doubt

That one can be
Like a tree
Forevermore
And never more

Be one in line
In times of strife

Let loves guide be
Prickled and free

When last we met
Twas a silhouette

Of times gone by
Please do try

To understand my heart
Cloved depart
Of love light lasting
With leaves contrasting

Views of such delight
Fancy of life

Be more my love
And know thy glove
Of two and one
Will stand in union

Have a wonderful Sunday.
